Didn't see the machine this weekend! Did host Thanksgiving and decorated the house. Also finished a couple of Christmas presents and did some wrapping (can't tell you about those....there are spies everywhere!!!)

Didn't get to sew as much as I had hoped. I did make 2 kitchen towels with decorated trims, & 8 potholders. Put some snowflakes on my Christmas quilt, and cleaned up my sewing room a bit. Oh and started another full size quilt for a March wedding! Apparently I am only happy when I have at least 3 or 4 projects going at once.

To prove that I have no life:
2 table runners from last year's after-Christmas sale, 2 octagonal Snowmen table toppers, finished my Mother's Christmas table runner, and one place mat for the set I'm going to make her. Also cut out fabric for a simple jacket I'm going to make. We had Fake Thanksgiving with the family last Saturday because both kids spent Real Thanksgiving with their in-laws. (I thought I was a Good Christian Woman until my kids got married and I found I had to SHARE.) So had more time than most of you to sew over the holiday.

Over the Thanksgiving long weekend I've been busy getting ready for a craft show. Made 3 burp cloths, 1 baby blanket, 2 lap quilts, a tote and put binding on two other lap quilts. Wow, I was busy! Oh yeah, also took 2" off a pair of denim shorts for a neighbor and started altering a store bought Christmas stocking for a dog costume for the Christmas dog parade.

Had another thanksgiving today, my kids spent the actual day with their dad so had family over today. Yesterday, finished my thanksgiving double Dresden table runner binding. Finished hooking my Santa pillow, my first attempt at hooking. My kids call me a stripper that hooks! Lol
