What is the difference between Janome online and Janome instore machines

None. They are now selling the Horizon 7700 only on line, I think.

But your machine will be the same as any other Janome Jem.

Some local stores have websites. I do all my machine shopping on line. My only other option are discount store machines---like Biedronka, Lidl, etc.

I bought my Janome MC 7700 online at SewingMachinesPlus.....they are in San Diego, CA. I have talked to them several times and they are very helpful.

I bought my Janome online. Not sure I would do it again, unless there is a big price difference. The LQS here that sells them pretty much wouldn't help with things. No free classes to learn your machine. Etc. I love the machine. The LQS that sells them I don't like the people there. The owner is an excellent teacher, something about her rubs me the wrong way.
You should get tons of support from your dealer if you buy it locally.
