You can make some great quilts with flannel. Backings on quilts, placemat and napkins, winter sheets. Wow! I can think of 100's of things.

Think she would sell some to me?

The lady had 500 bolts of high quality flannel that she does not want to use any more, she has a shop on Etsy and sells aprons. She also had..approximately 2,000 bolts of nice cotton fabric.(not for sale, (!!!XX@@!!!) Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have purchased several chenille patchwork patterns with various blocks using assorted colors. One is called Plumples, Chenille Patchwork with matching pillow -- Plumples is located in Garden Valley ID 83622, ph: 208-462-6778. Have another that I can't find right now, that I bought in MT with about 20 or so various patchwork blocks of scenic nature. The quilt was very large and handsomely done. With all that yardage, you could probably come up with a large assortment of individual blocks and not get bored with repitition. And chenille does use a good bit of fabric up! Have a ton of fun.

I just read on a tablerunner thread that it makes a good thin batting. I've also used it as a batting in a summer baby quilt.

Since it was so inexpensive, it sounds like a great opportunity to make a charitable donation with a portion of it ----either quilts or fabric to be made into quilts.
