I have made rag quilts and like the way they look, but still have lots of nice quilt quality flannel, and some flannel from JoAnn's.
What kind of quit pattern can I use with these other than rag quilts?
    Please
    Thanks
    Karen

Pretty much anything with a block with larger pieces and a simple design. I've done a log cabin with 2.5 inch strips, I've done a churn dash, I've done DP9.

I would do something simple like a warm wishes, rail fence, turning twenty. You just don't want a lot of bias cuts b/c flannel is more stretchy than cotton.

I've done "Take 5", "Yellow Brick Road", and "Turning Twenty" with flannel. I just make them as instructed and they are beautiful, warm quilts.
