Definitely use it for something that he will see. It's a good quality to nurture - not many men will go into a "women's" section and choose something - your future dil will be happy you encouraged him! ;)

By all means, keep it....Make a nice block out of it and frame it if nothing else. That was so sweet!

He is a true sweetie helps me shop and doesn't mind helping in the house hold. Very gentle spirit. Yes, if does get a wife she will be a happy lady.

Make napkins & use them instead of paper. Enjoy his love every day.

I would also try prewashing it in hot water and drying in a warm dryer. Sometimes these fat quarters will shrink up and actually come out of the wash looking better and softer. (Use some fabric softener, too!)

Make something useful and fun. Every time you use it or look at it, you will be reminded of him.

Accept the gift as from his heart!!! You'll come up with something to make from it!

I did and they do feel a little more pleasant but now they have the oddest shapes eventhough before the wash they were rectangular. When I 'll try and square them up they will loose a lot on all sides. This is not good. By the way they were factory cut and where rectangles before washing. Rethinking what to make of them but I love all the ideas. I asked him if he wanted me to make something for him but he said he had picked girl fabric for a girl. LOL

Haven't read all the replies yet but I'd make coasters. I have a cute pattern that has a little basket and then the coasters inside. If you want the name and pattern company, pm me and I'll send you the info. I think it was very reasonable when I bought it and you might be able to find something similar on line. This way, he'll see you using the fabric every day and you'll be reminded of his thoughtfulness.
    What a sweet thing.

I would make something out of it, to remember him and his thoughtfulness by. There are plenty of little projects our there.

I would defiantly use them. It is the thought that counts and that's all that matters.
