Mine just get tossed into the scrap bin for crazy quilts if they're big enough; or if they're tiny they go into the dog bed bag.

I kind of hate dealing with triangles, so the thought of managing them all into a tiny quilt is just beyond me at this point! Fortunately I rarely have them, since I try to avoid triangles whenever possible!

I saved all of the extra squares, triangles, ect, ect, and also orphan blocks. Before I knew it I had enough of them all to make a back-of-the-devan cover. Got a Red Ribbon on it at the fair!

Pat Speth has some great patterns for "waste triangles."

I sew them 4 together instead of HST. Then there is not nearly the amount of squaring off to do; I guess you could say it cuts the job in half.
These are leftovers from doing the Weed Whacker quilt from quiltville.com

When I cut them off, I sew the extra seam to make half square triangles. I made little pinwheel blocks and used them for cornerstones when sashing my quilt. They looked awesome. Have also made flying geese from them, doll quilts, placemats, potholders. They can also be used as components for other blocks. There are tons of uses for them.
