    The triangles - is the bias on the long edge or the shorter edges?

    Oh.
    Maybe they were cut incorrectly - in terms of bias.

    I've used those shapes in borders (diamond, larger triangle), but even if you did a strip, it would be bias all along the edge which would be a nightmare.

    OTOH, going back to the LeMoyne star - the diagram below show how both those triangles could be used in the construction.
    Although, again, huge bias issues all along the side/top/bottom edges.
    The corners will be ok because the yellow will not have any bias on the outside.
    I didn't check the measurements exactly, but they look like they'll fit. Yikes, let me go do that now.

    What beautiful colors. The Lemone would be spectacular like MTS has shown - wow good luck!
