    Sounds like most of us use them for scrappy quilts or iron them open for strip sewing--keep at it ladies. Who can afford todays fabric prices--use it all!

    I wind mine on empty toilet paper rolls, and tape the end down. Neat, and no tangles to undo later. You can flatten the rolls to take up less space.

    When you've collected quite a few make a 1600 quilt. The one made with 2 1/2" strips.

    If they are big/long enough I have ironed them out flat and used them as part of a block/extension on the back of a quilt when I don't have enough fabric to finish a backing. It almost always adds an interesting and fun touch to the quilt.

    A string quilt. Do not forget to use a background fabric to sew these to, especially if the binding was cut on the bias.

    i have several binding pieces that i keep in a canning jar. one day i will make a scrappy quilt and use all the different bindings for it.
