Hi Ladies, We are having a bit of fun at our Guild. We were all to bring a ugly fat quarter and put it in the "bag" and then we all drew a fat quarter from the "bag" and we were to create something that represents our "Inner Self". I pulled a black and orange and green fighting dinasaurs. Now as an example one gal drew a real girly type fabric and she appliqued Lollipops with balloons and bows on her fabric. Now ladies, what can I do with these dinasaurs. "My Inner Self"??? Just a-breathing fire!!!

are you allowed to cut it up? i'd try tiny patches so that the actual pattern of the fabric doesn't show. or, fold it in half and gather it into a flower so the pattern is not obvious...put coordinating decor in the center of the gathers. and maybe some lace on the edge?

Can you use wrong side of fabric? That would tone it down.

How about showing us a picture, so we can get an idea as to what it is like .... and then watch the suggestions pour out! :)
