How does a newbie find out what all the abbreviations used here mean, like OBW and the others? All I can think of for that one is, "Oh, by the way." LOL

Go to Search (at the top) and type in Abbreviations. You will get lots of information there (smile).

I know it's hard, still having trouble with this one too. Use the search topic, under the Quilter's Message board, put abbreviations in it, you will get some answers there.

Yep, it can get a little confusing here because the abbreviations are a mix of generic texting short-cuts and quilting specific terms. Don't panic, you'll soon get used to it all :-)

I felt the same way and sometimes still can't figure them out. My worst was the ROTFLMBO. I knew the last part was Laughing My Butt Off but I had no idea the first part was Rolling On The Floor. The QAYG and others still give me fits but I'm learning. It's like a foreign language to us people that don't text. YLS (you'll learn soon) LOL
