What a great purchase you made. I love my Pfaff, but I don't know anything about the 1141. Did you try their website for a manual?

If you go to this website: www.sewingmanuals.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Pfaff.htm

they list a manual for a Tiptronic. I had a newer Pfaff tiptronic - a 2030 which was a wonderful machine...you found a great bargain!!

I have had several Pfaffs. They are a great machine. I use a 7570 to do most of my quilting on.
