I did the 3 Dudes Amazing Jelly Roll quilt and it's really fun and comes out well. There's a MSQC tutorial on it. I used strips I cut myself instead of a jelly roll.

MSQC has a tute on a Fence Rail Star. Watched it last night, 1 or 2 baby quilts from 1 jelly roll. Also the Midnight Quilt Show tute is also very interesting. I will be needing to try that also.

I have a jelly roll with only 20 strips, and I was thinking of this, as each block uses most of a strip:

P.S. Kenmoregal, your quilts are awesome!

Moda Bake Shop has a great Jelly Roll Lone Star pattern I'm just preparing to have a go at and it only uses 25 strips plus background fabric. A scrappy star would be pretty in batiks depending on your colour and contrast selection.

Are you interested in something simple like this? It needs no pattern and could show off your fabric.
