Ok I'm in a dilemna...I have the opportunity to purchase either a Janome HF3000 or a Husqvarna Viking Scandinavia 100 both are very reasonably priced, but I'm not sure which I should go with. The Janome also has some fabric and rotary cutter/mat and a few other accessories, but the Viking has a quilting table attachment with it. What to do...what to do??? Help me my quilting buddies!!! :?:

I agree. Have you had a chance to sew on them yet? Sometimes there is just something about how a machine feels, that makes it the right decision.

I would worry first about the machine itself and forget the added on goodies....then I would sew on both. Which do you like the best? Which feels most comfortable?? Which is the easiest for you to operate? Well...theres your answer.. Wish I had your problem!!

Let us know how it went. Everyone here is right - if you can't buy both you have to test drive them. My mom has a Husqvarna Viking and I hate it. She loves it. It is all up to the person behind the pedal :)

I'm glad you are going to try them out. See which one feels like the best fit. I have had a number of machines but when I sit down with my Pfaff it feels like I'm home.

OK...update...I chose the ....... Janome. It just felt right. I have used a Brother for years and was very comfortable with it until it decided to start "fading into the sunset" and this machine is very similar with a few "added bonuses". I can't wait to get it home and take it for a spin!!! I'm sure all of my UFO's will appreciate it as well!!! Thanks guys & gals ... you're the best!!!
