I have donated the wool to a friend who is going to give it to the Scottish group she belongs to (she doesn't sew herself). Thanks everyone.

You did the right thing, I have made kilts in the past and those are perfect pieces for kilts or a kilted skirt for some one of Scottish heritage. That tartan is for Clan Leslie, the red is their Dress tartan the dark green and blue is their Modern Hunting and the one on the left is the Ancient Hunting. Your fabric was double wide kilt fabric, which is easier to work with.

Beautiful! It would make cute little girls jumpers. But not a lot of call for those. I hope someone puts that fabric to good use.

Don't know if you do applique, but a lot of people are into using wool pieces for that.

I received a roll of upholstery type fabric and use it for making simple gift bags.

I see that you've found that beautiful fabric a home. I've made throw pillows out of wool and they are everyone's favorites at my house. Looks great with a rustic decor.

I really like those. Did you knit a top cuff for them?
