I either play games on the computer or look at the quilting board if I am behind. I am concerned that I would mess up a quilt or get too interested in it and not sleep all night. Of course, I have done that. Usually after about an hour I can go back to bed and sleep. I turn on my MP3 player. Have books on it that lulls me to sleep lots of times. I went to a specialist several years ago. One of her suggestions was go to the coolest place and read the telephone book. That would drive me crazy instead of putting me to sleep. Hope this doesn't become a chronic condition for you.

I get up and clean...laundry, dishes, etc...all but vacuum. Then I jump on the the QB to see what you all are up to. Then sometimes I work on a quilt project.

I was ironing and folding my fabric onto cardboard boards when I was having my panic attacks. It helped to pass the time until the tablets I was taking took effect. Some times the attacks were so bad that not even the tablets worked and I would sit up in the lounge chair and try to sleep for a while. After about an hour the tablets worked and I went to bed as if nothing happened. I have a kitten now who seems to have helped a lot.

It's hard isn't it - a kitten should be able to put a smile on your face, then they grow up and get strange habits - like mine - > thinks he needs to flush the toilet in the middle of the night! :?

I usually put on soothing music - some from a reiki site and others are just soft music, I read, meditate, usually go to sleep within minutes. usually sleep well. I have recently learned about gemstones so put some under my pillow at night too.

kiffie2413 love your avatar I used to raise Siberian Huskies and still love them.

LaDonna - I sometimes listen to Coast to Coast too.

My kitten has always given a smile on my face, She now thinks that she can work the computer so she puts her whole body on the keys which makes it hard to do any thing I want to do like coming here to QB.

Me too. This has been wonderful for me. I used to wake up at all hours of the night and have terrible sleepy days. My CPAP lulls me to sleep and I love it. Better living through technology.
I am up at 3:00 tonight because I was not happy with DH and went to bed early to avoid saying rude things. Now it is 3:00 am and I am awake but at least I didn't ignite WWIII with this stubborn man. LOL
