Have a cup of herbal tea, curl up on recliner & read. Puts me to sleep in under an hour!

I just toss and turn all night. I think about getting up and going into my sewing room but it never happens. I just fight it every night, should go on meds.

I'm with you. I hardly ever can't sleep. I think that's a blessing, because the nights I can't sleep the next day is horrible.

I get up and sew. Might as well be productive.

    Read. That usually works.

If I come on the computer the hours fly away and no sleep happens!

I either get up and on the computer or watch tv.

    Read a book.
    Read this board.
    Play solitaire.
Eat something that will make me crash in a few minutes.
Start a load of laundry so the sound of the machine lulls me.
Play my meditation CDs from InnerPeaceMusic.com.

I used to iron in the middle of the night, but since I don't wear things I *have* to iron any more, that's out as a bore-me-back-to-sleep method.
