I have a hard time going to sleep every night. I can't sew after about 10:00 pm. I can't read at that time also. Brain fog. I'm so tired but can't relax! I usually check here till I'm sleepy then I sleep the sleep of the dead. It's so hard to wake up then. I'm trying new thing. I'm going to go to therapy really early (6:00 am) so that I'll be sleepy earlier. I hope it works!!!

I buy "7 Azahares" a compound of seven herbs that induce relaxation and sleep. It is a Mexican product easily found here in California.

gosh, my hubs is at the houseboat about 3 hrs away. He's been there for a few days. Yesterday I left my purse in the car w/ the cellphone in it (no housephone, and didnt know I'd left everything in the car). Didnt hear from him but that didnt seem unusual, the reception from there is terrible.

Finally went to bed a reasonable hr (been getting to bed at 4AM the last 2 nights!), let the cat in, the dog is w/ my brother at the "farm", locked all the doors and never considered calling hubs. The cat woke me up about 3 AM which isnt like her so I got around in the dark and let her out and went back to bed.

3 min later hubs was calling my name down the hall and I couldnt figure out what I was hearing, if it was a dream - and then there he was in the dark - he nearly gave me a stroke!

Well, when he couldnt get me on the cell ALL DAY! he called my brother, couldnt get him, and got so worried something bad happened to me he drove all the way home at midnight to check on me!!! He woke the cat up knocking at the door (but he said he didnt want to knock too loud so as not the scare me if I were sick!) and when I let the cat out in the dark I didnt see him going out to the drive to his car - he needed a house key from the car to get in! lol.

He was exhausted and fell right to sleep, my heart wouldnt stop pounding, so I went up to my sewing room and went thru all my moms sewing cases I got when she died and straightened them out so I had at least 1 complete for my own use. Then moved some furniture, went through art supplies for a taboret next to my sewing area, went through some holiday magazines, sorted spools of thread, made some curtain tiebacks out of a lace flower trim she had and came down and made hubs breakfast. After he ate he drove back to the lake because he came away so fast he left everything running, AC, electric, water hookup - poor guy.

I promised to keep my cellphone glued to me! lol, sharet

I make blocks, using my crumbs, using the techniques on this site. No worries about exact seams or measurements. Oh dear, I hope it's ok to put this site in here.
