I call mine my studio as it serves as my office, sewing and scrapbooking room. It's multiple purpose.

My studio...it took over my two spare bedrooms...oh wait, then there's the ????Long arm room???? which USED to be my den.......I guess, in all fairness, I have my studio and my kitchen...and of course, a couple of bathrooms....and that's how I like it!

If I had a separate room for all my quilting stuff, there would probably be a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on it, so that's probably what it would be called.

I share our master bedroom with my studio, but most of the time I call it the Studio. I'm in studio, which means I'm quilting and don't want to be disturbed. You'd think that my kids, now that they are grown and after I quilted most of their young lives, would know better than to bother me when I'm in studio, but somehow they've decided that when I'm there, it's a great time to visit me and chat. They also know that if I don't answer them, I'm deep into quilting, so they just sit there staring at me till I acknowledge they are still alive. LOL

ETA - my husband calls it "Your studio" as well. I trained him well. ;-)

My whole house is my "studio". My sewing room is the guest room. (When we need the bed we have to "find" it. All stuff on it goes onto the table for the duration.) I sew there or in the living room, (a lot) or in the kitchen, (on my 301). My laundry room has my big ironing board, and I also cut on the tall table in the kitchen. (perfect height) The only space left is two bathrooms. Nuff said!
