    I trash it too! Just not worth ruining someone else's project by putting it on the free table.

    I cut it into usable size and put in my husbands grease rag box. it will eve see water again. LOL

    I used a bleeding fabric to 'dye' a bunch of soft white fabric -- was so pretty!

    I had red solid fabric after 12 times washing it and every remedy mentioned here failed .. I used it to back a black and red quilt top so it's with darker colors it can't bleed on and ruin!

    As one poster said, donate for dog beds. Our guild donates for that and it's better than just pitching it. But if you can't find someone to take the fabric, than pitching is the second best thing. That fabric Will never heal and play right.

    I have found a new (kind of) hobby. Locker hooking. Tear into strips and make wall hangings or rugs. I've done latch hooking and still have couple hooks. It makes for nice breaks and puts a dent into the strip stash.

    I've always found this works for me :- Wash it several times, let it dry between washes. After last wash line dry then iron.

    Contact the manufacturer...if you know who it is...I had 6 yards of dark red Moda marble that did that, they replaced it and sent more for my trouble?

    I think I'd cut it into 2 even pieces and put batting between and use it for free motion quilting or practicing.
