It seems every time I try to iron anything small, especially seam binding I am always burning my fingers, some times more than others....what do you do to keep from doing this....Has anyone tried the thermal thimbles....

I bought the smaller Dritz iron for that. Makes burning yourself less likely to happen. They can be fairly expensive but if you use a coupon from Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or JoAnn's they aren't so bad.

I have heard some of the gals on here say they wear a Klutz glove ..one of the ones you use with a rotary cutter. A wooden chop stick works well too...No fun to have burnt fingers...keep a bowl of ice water close by..I use one of those when I am working with the hot glue gun too...crafty_linda_b
