    Great ideas everyone, thanks!

I was thinking too of making baby quilts for donation or lap quilts for nursing home residents. Do you think that would be acceptable?
Ether idea is great, Children in hospitals or seniors in nursing homes.

I think if the pattern is right, no fabric looks outdated. I would definitely think charity quilts. Great place to practice fmq.

OR, you can make quilts from it that will stand the test of time.

I can think of many things you could do, but want to give everyone else a chance.

Didn't know any fabric got outdated. Of course the poly knits went but the cottons and blends are always useful for something.

I agree with donation quilts or pet beds for an animal shelter (stuff with fabric scraps).
