Use in very small pieces. Trade with someone who loves them.

Make a scrappy Log Cabin. I did with fabric that I thought was pitifully ugly. Everyone loved it.

Bonnie Hunter says that if they are still ugly after you chop them up then you didn't cut small enough.

Maybe a postage stamp quilt. Then you couldn't tell what was
    on the fabric.

strip piecing uses alot of uglies up. You don't notice they are so ugly when surrounded by so many others that maybe aren't in the beauty contest section.

There are several things- You can run borders in black to offset and seperate. If you have a daughter or granddaughters between 4- 17 they will most likely love the fabric and you can give it to them for doll clothes.

Any suggestions on what kind of quilt I could make with them that would lessen the ugly when mixed together with the other scraps and remnants I have? Is there a particular pattern any of you use to make something worthwhile from fabric you just aren't crazy about? HELP!
What about cutting all into strips like a jelly roll and make the quilt we saw here for the jelly roll race (probably not the right name, but anyway). I know the strips would be shorter, but it would be the same principle. You might like it so much you won't want to give it away.
