I received 20 fat quarters of fabric in a "Surprise FQ" bundle for 10/$5 in the mail yesterday. I was just taking a chance that the fabrics would be something I could use. Well, ALL of the fabrics except maybe 2 of them are so UGLY I don't know what I could use them for. Any suggestions on what kind of quilt I could make with them that would lessen the ugly when mixed together with the other scraps and remnants I have? Is there a particular pattern any of you use to make something worthwhile from fabric you just aren't crazy about? HELP!

The smaller you cut them the better they look!

I would not try to use them in one quilt but would use them as I went along. Or use them for trial blocks. Or trying a new quilting pattern. Or sell them or trade them.

make them into a scrap quilt, by adding one netural color. Do you have a picture it would be helpful.

You could work them into scrap quilts. Before you know it they will be used up. Maybe they are only ugly to you...folks like different things...make them into a quilt for donation. Somebody may think it's the prettiest thing ever. :)

IMHO - there's no such thing as an ugly fabric. Can we see a picture? Maybe we can help.

Can you post photos or scans of them? Someone might want to trade.
