Since I don't like to applique, I cross stitch while the game(s) are on. He's pretty neutral, but the rest of us have our favorites. Football: Cowboys for me, Bears for my daughter and Lions for my son-in-law. My son is strictly a Tigers fan (baseball). We are a Michigan State household. My daughter graduated from there - so that's where our money is! (LOL) You will find us all gathered around the TV during football season!

Last year I finished hand quilting a queen -- the one that is my avatar. Now I am just starting a Dear Jane Stickle quilt -- Tonite I appliqued 2 blocks -- out of over 200 -- so I guess I'll have enough to do for the season. Of course, then it is followed by basketball. I'm not a fan.
I can absorb the game and glance up for an exciting play or touchdown while I do something pretty

The only game we watch together is the Alabama Auburn game. The rest of them I will we cutting out future projects. I can't do any sewing because I'm in the same room as he is. It can't be helped house is to small.

If he is watching a game, I will find hand sewing to do. Usually by the time he starts watching it is playoff time. We are not big sports fans in this house. Occasionally hockey and some NASCAR. Baseball...? Never golf or basketball!! The good thing about sports is the replay so you can catch up on the excitement very quickly.
NASCAR in our house thou usually means a nap for DH! :)

Gooooooooooo Steelers!!! Our home team is the only one we watch and I make it a point to wash clothes on Sundays 'cause that's my excuse for staying home and keeping the gate locked to keep company out - to watch the Steelers do their thing!
