I make yards of binding and always save the leftovers. I then use them, sometimes several different ones, on charity scrap quilts. They make up really pretty and are always available.

I use them to bind scrap quilts. I put them in a plastic shoe box labeled "binding" until I'm ready for them.

I just started my first string quilt and I have been throwing my binding ends in my scrap box. They do get used.

I keep them and sew them together to make scrappy binding. Quick and easy.

I hang them on a design wall, and hope to use them sometime.
    And I have!
Or use on a scrappy quilt.

I sew them end to end to make long binding and then use it on scrappy quilts. Who knows or cares if the binding fabric is in the quilt top? Everything blends.

Yes, I keep all my cuts and use them for various things.
scrappy quilts, journal covers, pockets made out of left over blocks on my recycle bags.
Attached is a picture of how I store them, this is one of two jars.

scrappy bindings, colors that work together with what's on the quilt ~ I just was getting ready to pack up a leftover binding, when I realized it was the perfect length for the runner & matching hotpads I just did for the kitchen... there are a bazillion uses! I fold them and wrap, that way I can see what colors are available in my drawer.
