Project Linus will accept "orphan" blocks. No matter how much YOU might dislike them yourself they can always be added to their quilts.

Pot holders, charity quilts, bags, placemats. I also let my 11 year old granddaughter makes pot holders with them or doll blankets.

Really? I make quilts for them but never thought about them for my orphans (where-ever those silly things are!).

I make pillow tops, pot holders or placemats with mine if I can't use them in another quilt.

I have several and they just take up space. I hate to throw them out but don't really have a use for them.

I've never even heard of a "Mile-A-Minute quilt" before but I'm intrigued by the name. Info please?

If I had any I would make a sampler quilt...with attic windows done in dark gray and black.....or a table runner or table trivets....but they are only taking up space....All else fails I would not throw them but donate either to a local guild, local quilt store or Goodwill/Salvation Army....Somebody, somewhere will love them, why contribute to the land fill ????

Mine are tucked in pizza boxes. Maybe once a year I get them out and fondle them, put them away and smile to think of some quilter at my estate sale going nuts. My junk someone else's treasure.
