I have a very small family and everyone who wants a quilt has one. I probably have 10 bed quilts that I would never part with along with 10-15 wall hangings and lap quilts. All of my quiltinmaking today go to Project Linus, my charity of choice.

I give most of mine away to family, friends. I've kept a few minis and my husband or DD claim almost all the quilts I make.

I give some away, use some, hang some and keep some. Anybody comes along and wants one, it goes home with him/her.

I usually make quilts as gifts, some are holiday quilts used to decorate my home at the appropriate season, many have gone to my kids.

I usually make them for family gifts. Have only been quilting a year. DH was jealous as they all went out the door, so recently made him one. Now working on a baby quilt for DGD, then a wall-hanging for MIL, then on to Christmas gifts. All family to date.

I have some I don't feel ready to part with. Others packed in boxes, some get donated to the church for bids on at auctions. My hair dresser buys several at a time to use for gifts, so I carry some in the back of my car so she can look thru them. Like selling out of my hatch back. LOL Also forgot made some for my older grandchildren to have for their babies to come just in case I should not be here they would have one made from grandma.
