Default What do you get when you put red, aqua, and white together?

No, really . . . what do you get? I have purchased small amounts of many different prints of red and aqua and white, but I have no idea what quilt pattern to use! I have literally spent HOURS looking online to get ideas (Quilter's Cache, blogs, etc.), but nothing is jumping out at me! I want to put the blocks on point and have white sashing around the blocks. What would you do with this "scrappy" stack of reds and aquas I've got sitting here??? Thanks for your advice!!! I'm quite new to this quilting thing so I really appreciate your help!!!

You get Judi's (Green Fairy Quilts) cute pillows!

I'm not positive of the collection, but it looks like Moda's Vintage Modern to me. If you search Google Images for this line you'll probably find many photos for inspiration.

I'm currently making the Bento Box pattern with Asian fabrics. Two of my fabrics are a gorgeous tomato red and another is a bright aqua - they look fabulous together. My avatar shows the quilt in progress with the colors together.

That's my new favorite color combination, I'll be following this thread!

I just went to www.pinterest.com and searched "aqua red quilts" and got lots of ideas.

Sorry I don't know the name of the pattern, it is scrappy stars.
I would never have thought to put red and aqua together until I did a swap with those colors, love them together!
Good luck in your search for the right pattern, that is almost as much fun as finding the fabrics.

What I do when I need a pattern and have no idea what I what is pull out a bunch of quilt magazines (or even buy a new one or two), and just take a couple of hours, sometimes days, looking through them. Eventually the right pattern will say here I am LOL.

Keep us posted on your progress.

These are my fave colors together right now. Check out this girls site, she designs fabric and patterns, you're gonna love it! http://www.camilleroskelley.typepad.com/

Her fabric line Ruby makes me drool!
