I have never been to a Hobby Lobby, but one is supposed to open in Albany OR sometime this year. I'm looking forward to going there.

Hobby Lobby has decent fabric (not truly LQS quality- but close and higher than JAF) always priced at 30% off. As previously stated, if you want to use the 40% off coupon, ask the cutter to mark the slip for the regular price. Notions at the HL in Manchester, NH store are so-so, not a huge selection. Lots of crafts items available, as well as home decorating items (pictures, knickknacks, etc.), cake making supplies and photo framing. The store is closed on Sundays for religious reasons.

I don't get to HL often, but when I do, I stock up on my Kona solids.

How do you get the Hobby Lobby coupon on your smart phone? I am just learning how to use mine.

Good fabric. One thing to know is that if you ask them at the cut out counter to list it as regular price then, you can use your 40% coupon at the check out. Lots of times their sale price is 30% off so by doing it this way they will give you an extra 10% off. I love shopping at Hobby Lobby.

PS: they are good to their employees also

I wish a Hobby Lobby would come near me though I dont get a paper so no coupons. I also have a dumb phone not a smart phone saving $75/ month, so DH says, relying on my ipad.

Around here the Hobby Lobby stores are located in old WalMart buildings - not the WalMart Supercenters - but the older Walmarts. A very nice, big craft store - where something is always on sale - just wait a week or two if you need something as it will be on sale sooner or later.

A quick story - years ago my BFF had a Dr's appointment in another town with a Hobby Lobby in the middle of January. The weather had been horrible ever since Christmas so guess that nobody could get out to shop the after Christmas sales. We went to Hobby Lobby and everything in the Christmas rows (2 rows) were 90% off. She and I bought $1,000.00 worth of Christmas things for $100. We had a car full of bows, ribbons, lights, etc. We had a ball. Our lucky day!

I like Hobby Lobby and buy a lot of fabric there and notions when they are on sale or use a coupon. They allow you to use a coupon on books also. One of my favorite stores.

If you don't get the newspaper ad and don't want to get it on a Smartphone, you can go to their website and just print it off from there.

I have purchased a lot of fabric there over the years.

The only negative I have experienced at their store is the check-out system. They don't scan (at least in any of the stores I have ever been in). That isn't a problem when a customer has one or two items, but when someone comes to the check-out with a million stems of silk flowers or other small items and if they are not marked with the price or the clerk doesn't remember they are on sale, then there can be a long wait. The worst is on Saturday's in December.

    I also like their music.
