Default What do you know about Hobby Lobby?

Hobby Lobby is coming to the East Bay of San Francisco. I have no experience with this company. Any info on fabric, threads, notions, and pricing would be helpful. Interestingly, they are going to be a block over from Joanne's. Help.

The one near me has decent fabric, books, sewing items galore. Plus many other things for the home. Closed on Sundays. You will enjoy the store.

Plus there is a 40% off one item coupon that comes in our newspaper ever Sunday. It can be downloaded too. I buy a lot of my fabric there.

I love our Hobby Lobby!... Someone asked me 1 time what my dream job would be, I answered honesty " I would own Hobby Lobby." LOL Then I told her " The only problem is I would go broke, because I would want to play with everything in there and keep it for my self." LOL but true!

Are you asking about Hobby Lobby as a store or about the case in the Supreme Court today? It's a great store, but service is poor in the framing dept of our store. I have not bought fabric there and don't go there often because they are not open on Sundays and that is the only time I get to the city.

You will love Hobby Lobby! You can show the 40% off coupon on your smart phone and use the coupon once a day. If they have the color I want, I buy my Kona cotton there. I buy some quilting fabric there if I am too busy to go out to my LQS. I have been pleased with the quality of the fabric I purchased there; but my LQS is my first choice for quilting fabric. I use the 40% off coupon for purchasing quilting notions. Since I bake lots of cakes, I love their cake decorating supplies. They have lots of neat craft supplies and many other interesting things,

I am so glad that someone started this thread. Hobby Lobby is coming to a town 30 miles from me. Were I live we have no craft stores or LQS. I am excited that Hobby Lobby is going to be so close. I usually have to drive at least twice that to get to a LQS or Joann's.

The 40% coupons are only good on items at Regular price (if the item you want is on sale
    say for 30% off),
    *** ***
you can ask the sales person to write it up at the Regular price and use the 40% coupon.

Getting the EXTRA 10% off instead of the advertised 30% off.

    Good store.
