Usually music...either radio or cd's...but sometimes I do like it quiet too. Once in awhile I will bring my laptop into my sewing room and play either Solo Piano Radio or Pandora music.

I prefer the purr of my machine and the quiet of living in the country.

    How 'about you?
Same with me--no music plays in the house...and the TV is only on when hubby is watching in the evening.

Old TV shows/movies on NetFlix, or the radio.

It depends on what I'm making but from April-November I have the Yankee games on my laptop :) They go wherever I go lol
I also have books and music on my Ipod.
Sometimes just silence, especially when I'm piecing on my Featherweight. Love that sound!! :D:D

Depends on the day--I watch/listen to a lot of NCIS; love the easy listening channel on the TV; and a lot of HGTV gets stuck in there.

I have tinnitus and like to drown out the ringing in my ears with country music.
