I like to embellish clothes with it, and of course lace ornaments are so much fun. I also make "cards" (like fabric postcards) for special birthdays and things.

I even made a Bernina Latte quilt (embroidered blocks) once!

I have a Brother Innovis 4000D. I get my designs from several sites, my favorites are http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/default.aspx, and http://www.embroiderydesigns.com, and http://www.embroidables.com.

My second machine was a Brother 8500D. It sat in the box for 3 months before I finally worked up the courage to open it up and take it out so I know that chicken feeling well.

This is my first ever quilt label. I'm going to use Steam A Seam 2 (it has an adhesive on both sides) and iron it onto the back of the quilt. I will probably do some handstitching around it to make sure it stays put.

Do the sites work for any embroidery machine? Or just Brother? I really love the tiger. Our family has mainly gone to Auburn University and they are the Tigers. So that would be great for niece or nephew gifts.

I just started piecing in the hoop. Love it. And I use it to embellish bags n totes. Now my DH wants me to do some hats for him.

Two years ago I bought my machine thinking it would make money, so far its only increased my need to buy more sewing supplies. Heres some things I've done.

The bib didnt turn out well it went in the trash.
