what do you put a quilt in when you want to work on binding at different places?

I made myself a huge bag using Jenny Doan's pattern that calls for Jelly rolls. She has a video of it on utube.. It is quick and easy... You don't have to use a jelly roll, you could use up strips from your stash...

I don't do what you are planning very often, but I have a large Vera Bradley bag that would accommodate a quilt and it has little interior pockets that will keep needed tools handy. I don't know the name of this sized bag but it I use it for over night or week-end traveling. Really any hand bag will do. I like the pillow case idea. Hand not thought about that.

Some of the ladies in our guild have made those Fat Quarter bags to carry large quilts. With the elastic on the sides it is easy to use and almost opens flat. The pattern is on the internet and it is free. Takes 6 FQs and lining.

I made muself a Fat Quarter Bag, pattern my M'Lissa Rae Hawley. Spelling may be wrong. I have made several as gifts. Each bag needs six fat quarters and some yardage. They are perfect for hauling large quilts to guild for show and tell.

Wal-Mart and sometimes Big Lots have Picnic Baskets which are really great for taking quilting to other places.
I don't have one yet, as I haven't been in either store when they had them out.
Look in the Housewares Dept. at W.M. can't say at Big Lots.Hope I get there when they have them out this Spring!!
