This year I am getting a Viking Ruby for Xmas!!! I am going to spend my two weeks off enjoying my children and grandchild and our out of state guests and in every spare moment, I am going to learn to use my Ruby!

We have our Family Christmas, the Sat. before Christmas, that way my kids can stay home xmas day with their children and let them play with their gifts, and have their time together. So all my holiday sewing for other people will be done and I can get back to the quilt I was working on, and have almost finished before the rush was on. The pressure is off and I can work at a more relaxing pace.

I want to go on a quilt retreat sometime!!(hear the whine in there???? )The ladies I quilt w/ during the summers do one, but it is in the fall, and I can never go because school has started back up. I'm looking forward to the day when work doesn't interfere w/ my play time!!

Our holiday is very low key, so for the last three years I've joined in on Bonnie Hunter's mystery. They are always complicated enough to be interesting.

I love this time of year, always admire how others go out to decorate, just too lazy to do it myself
