What do you quilt over the holiday
Being someone who does not do Christmas. What will other people be doing?
I hope to be finishing a few projects especially my Japanese puzzle quilt. If finish those have
2 baby quilts to make before April and more spicy spiral table runners.

I have tons and tons, (well it seems like it anyway), of scraps! I decided this early a.m. that from here on out I am focusing on strip lap quilts. I intend to keep making the squares til I run out of scraps! Won't that keep me busy? So 2013 is the year of strip quilts to do! Starting today! The fun part of this is, you can make a square in just a few minutes before I leave for work, or just too tired to think. Easy peasy!

I do some Christmas (it's a lunch thing here) but I know that I will be stitching after the family leaves in mid afternoon for their next Christmas dinner. I'll continue to stitch on one of my many UFO's and may even give myself permission to start a new scrap quilt just because it is Christmas.

I'm finishing up a Cars quilt (from the movie) for a little boy. It'll be his Christmas present - I have a king size quilt that I'm piecing that is probably over half finished. I want to get it on the frame by Christmas. I don't do Christmas either Dottymo...

I will be going on a quilt retreat(8 friends) leaving Dec 27-Dec 31. This is the first time for me at this time of year. I will be working on a paper pieced log cabin small quilt and also a snowman quilt I have hand appliqued the blocks and will be adding saw toothed star blocks. I am looking forward to this retreat getaway.
