What do you think is coming down the pike?

Hahahaha That is a true statement. It's funny how many things we don't "need" when they're first intoduced become things we can't imagine living without.

I really don't care what is in the future. I am happy to be quilting with my rotary cutter and mat. Not interesting in any of the die cut gadgets.

Who knows, there just might be an app for technical devices to help complete projects at home from the place of employment. Just plug the machines, vintage and current with USB adapters into the devices and for a few minutes at a time let the chain piecing begin!!!

Who knows, but I think they should have a rotary cutter with a counter, and of course someone would have done the testing to see about when to change the blade! You know how we all forget about it until it gets really bad?! What do ya'll think about this, would you buy it? Betcha would! LOL!

Regarding newfangled gadgets we might not really need...
I get by on the bare minimum because I always have. For economic reasons and simplicity's sake
But if you have the means to buy any tool you want and the time to learn and use it and it helps you then more power to you!
I have been using the bare minimum for so long that I'm used to it and too set in my ways to start using all kinds of fancy stuff
Even if I could afford all the new gadgets I couldn't justify the expense because I'm not that good at it it's just something I love doing

I had to have a rotary cutter when they first came out.
I couldn't afford it, but other than that, the only other thing I NEEDED
was the Brooklyn revolver, the turning matt . I use it sometimes, but
that rotary cutter is use a lot.
