My husqvarna 1+ does let you klo whtat it is about out of thread. Can't sew too long after the beeps.
If they can invent cars that ding when you are about out of gas, why not a machine that tells you when you are about out of bobbin thread?
how about one that stops and will automatically feed off the spool without having to rethread the machine when that bobbin runs out?

I think these MAY be available - but not all manufacturers make them:
Commercially dyed fabrics that need no further treatment to prevent bleeding of the dye. The whole idea of having to use color catchers, retayne, synthrapol, salt, vinegar - whatever - on a commerically dyed piece of fabric annoys me A LOT!

I'd like a hand-held scanner that will scan the fabrics I have in perfect color resolution. I could then take the scanner along in my purse for whenever I go to the fabric store. I'd scan different fabrics (say, reds) and be able to see at glance what I already have or what would coordinate with it.
Oh, the scanner would also measure my fabric without my having to unfold/unroll it.
