One of the LQS in my area does all their own bundles of fat quarters. There are always 8 in the bundle and usually sell for $23.00. Most of the time they are all different(not necessarily from the same collection) but blend really well.

Being a new quilter I find this very helpful as I think putting the fabrics together for a quilt is one of the hardest things.

Not enough of lights in a bundle, there's 6 dark's and 1 light.

So if you had a bundle of 8, would you recommend including 3 darks, 3 lights, and 2 in the middle?

    Does that even make sense?
I concur. I am drawn to bundles that have a theme or like Rebecca described. However, I can't say I've ever bought a bundle! There goes that budget problem again!
