    Featherweight 221, dated 1954 without a case for $150? Supposed to be in very good condition..... Would love to know your opinions please...

    I would go for it! I just won the bid on one for 149.00 that needs parts. Hopefully I will find them! Good luck!

    No, I have an appt to see it at 2PM. The foot pedal needs rewiring but hubby can do that in a snap.

    If you want a FW, then go for it. I think I'd just get a new pedal and cord. I have one on my 301. I wish my 128 wasn't wired into the motor because I'd like to replace the wiring on it, too. 60 year old wiring worries me.

    I paid that much for mine, no case, no attachments, but had a bobbin case and I am thrilled with it.

    Especially if the decals are in good shape, that is a great price! Even for a worn-looking featherweight, it's a decent price.
