Here is another suggestion for the wedding quilt. I just finished one for my grand daughter's wedding and had it quilted with hearts in the design. I gave her some fine permanent markers and she will have the wedding guests sign on the hears on the back. She was so thrilled, as she didn't want a traditional guest book. Good luck with your quilt :-)

I like the pattern and it should work with what you have.

I was thinking of using the yellow as the background color.Need your opinions please. :?

Here's one version of how it would look
Lea, How thoughtful of you to do this for Cassie. I was sitting here trying to think of what the pattern would look like, and would never have been able to imagine it. Thanks for the time you took to help out.

If you haven't bought the fabric yet, you might want to find some Maywood Studios Shadowplay. They are solids with a little subtle mottling to them. I love, love, love them. Keepsake Quilting carries it as well as other places.

I really like the mock ups some of the ladies did for you so think the quilt will work up nicely. Mostly I'd like to thank you for the link as I looked at the other patterns and printed several out. Good luck on your quilt. Best wishes to the newlyweds!

ok now that life has gotten out of the way I finally got a sec to take a pic of the fabrics dd bought,oh and I might mention I need to have this done by the 14th of August. Here are the colors (one reason not to let dd buy the material I get the story but mommy remember I am a poor college student and these were less money per yard). Looks like I will need to find something that will work up quickly,I am unable to dedicate a full day to quilting due to back issues,so something easy I think this time would be better. ;-)
