I found a home made foot pedal mat in a local quilt shop. It's a piece of plywood about 10 inches square. It has shelf liner glued to the top and bottom. It works great. To keep the foot pedal in place while I'm sewing. It would be easy to make.

I bought the Pedal Sta pad. It works on tile and carpet. Walmart had the the Martelli No Slip Pad for machine pedal for $12. [h=1][/h]

I use a pad like those mentioned above, and a huge rock to bump the pedal against. It never moves.

I ended up putting something heavy to keep it from moving. I am going to try the suggestion of putting a scrap from the rubber shelf liner. THANKS

Same thing here. I also have a large storage tote that isn't going anywhere buy itself and the foot pedal and pad butt up against it.

I have tried many things also, Now I put the cord of the foot petal under a leg of my sewing cabinet and it stays where I can reach it ALL of the time.

Get a tiny piece of non-slip material that is used for rugs, or one of those grippers used for opening cans.

I use the rubberized shelf covering (actually looks like a rubber bubbled netting). 2.99 a roll at Walmart and I use it under my featherweight and my 301s just to keep them from wanting to escape my sewing :-). I cut a piece about an inch bigger all the way around and it works perfectly. Currently I have my featherweight on the kitchen counter (making a 156 blocks and so I work awhile and rest awhile) and there is a piece of this keeping the pedal nice and stable on the laminate wood flooring in the kitchen. Hope this helps.
