    great idea! i never even thought about it. I just let the ends hang out and hope i dont catch them and have them unravel LOL!

    You read my mind. Have been doing this for quite a while. Also they sell that plastic net to put over them. If you can get in good with a local flower shop, spider or fuji mums & gerbera dasies come with these nets over them so they don't tangle when shipped. Get them to save some for you. When I was still in the flower business, that is what I did.

    I use those rubber round things. I think they're called bobbinsavers. Work great!

    I use the little rubber bands that were left over after a few years with braces. I also use the tiny bands that are for children's hair for bigger spools of thread.

    cool idea. I have one of those round thing that the bobbins fit in . helps alot.
