What does a quilter do when the guild takes off for the summer ( quilt )and every summer we miss it. No firts Wednesday night of the month just to get out and quilt with outhers. What do you do? Quilt. No lectures or lessons, or some one to help you with a problem no trips (one day or weekend get aways ). What is a quilter to do? QUILT; but we do miss our guild in the summer.

Oh I AM GLAD my guild don't break up for summer like the school kids here in Spain, they finish school by 23rd June, and don't return until mid September....it is far too long...I would be going stir crazy by then if the guild meetings stopped for summer lol!!!!

A few of the group also meet up every couple weeks in one of our houses, we all bring a little food etc., so its not a burden on the hostess, and usually have a great time, though not much stitching gets done lol!!!

Between this board and watching quilting shows on the web and quilting, who has time for a guild?
