Rail fence. Any size. Press your seam allowances in opposite directions when joining blocks. COuldn't be easier.

My first quilt was a strip quilt. My mother showed me how. I sewed the strips on newspaper and then took the paper off. I was so proud of it at the time. Now I look at it and see and the mistakes I made. But it's special to me because my mother helped me.

I fussy cut some princesses and alternated them with four patch blocks. My DGD loved it and it was so fast and easy.

I love the Yellow Brick Road pattern. Clear cutting directions and easy piecing with no seams to match up.

This scrappy version of Marcía's Sunny Lanes was very easy to make, and I did the 2" squares as my starters & enders for a long time before actually stitching it together.
