    I have the Viking Designer 1. You can probably get a used one in your price range now. It is a good value for the money as it is a sewing and embroidering machine using up to the Mega Hoop size. (About 14.2" x 6")

    I have a brother SE350 you have to use Ped basic with it but there are other brothers in your price range that hook up to the computer

    I have a 12 needle Renaissance machine. I love the work it does and there are so many designs on the Internet to purchase for a small amount.
