Ugh....so many to finish before Christmas. Two lap quilts to finish binding....one just completed last night. I need to finsih quilting the oversized lap qult for my mother and clean up all the snipping on the flannel rag quilt for my father in law. I also have a seude vest and a fleece blanket to finish sewing for DH.....I think that should do it for the holiday!!!

I just got my "quilts for kids kit" I may try to work on it a bit. So glad that the squares are precut. I have a hard time cutting with my right arm in a sling!!

This is how the kit arrived. The strips for the 4 patches are already cut as well as the 6 1/2" blocks and the strips for the borders. This will enable me to sew it cause cutting the strips would be difficult at best. I'm so glad that it is pre-cut, otherwise I would have to wait a little while to be able to sew it together. I won't be able to quilt it for a couple of weeks though.

    Loretta -
How do you restore a quilt. I wouldn't know where to start. Do you add pieces in the worn spots or do more of a mending techniques like stitching down any torn areas?

    Jim's Gem -

That is a very cute kit for your quilt for kids. I am so excited to get mine.
