    It sure looks like a dogwood as well as a kit quilt from the 40's or 50's

    It is a dogwood.
    She used two diff. colors for the petals I believe, because it shows up better on the quilt and gives depth and dimension to the design.
    Very pretty.

    Definitely a dogwood, it is applique, years ago kits sold by either LeeWards or Herschnerrs. Ruth

    Dogwood, although I've never seen a half white-half pink dogwood flower before! :lol: :lol: :lol: They are either white or pink; not both. :D :D :D That's such a beautiful quilt!!

    It's a kit and it's called a dogwood. I made one identical about 15 or 20 years ago.
