    It's exactly the same pattern.
I'm sure glad you found this link for her - there is a kit on EBAY but it's very pricey!

As for the flowers, I like my flowers to look a little more like the 'real deal' - think this would be very pretty in a Moda marble or a very pale batik where you get some color vatiation...jmho

It is definately Dogwood...I recently purchased a dogwood pattern at The Cherry Pit Quilt Shop in Seiverville, TN recently. Different pattern than the quilt you saw, but it too is appliqued. Love anything Dogwood!!!

I found that exact quilt with the white and pink on the flowers in one of my books, Leisure Arts Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt Patterns, page 78. There's a photo of the quilt stating it's a vintage quilt from the The Antique Quilt Source in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. (and yes, it's a Dogwood).

I just made this quilt pattern. I found it in a book titled Big Book of Best Loved Quilt Patterns starts on page 309. It was a very enjoyable applique pattern. I hope this helps.

The quilt is called "Dogwood" and is 'Applique # 12' in the Volume 2 binder of Oxmoor House Best Loved Quilt Patterns binder.
I tried to show you a pic, but it just sits there...Ah, there it is! :)

A dogwood it is, but I don't think they ever come is two colors. The only ones we have on our property are all pink or all white.

Thank you, Bebe, for this topic. I have been looking for the origin of this quilt pattern so I could put a label on the quilt my grandmother made for me 30 years ago. I can't believe that in all of the internet searches I have done that I didn't find it, but it is this exact design.

My quilt is now old and faded from much use because I always felt like I had my grandmother near when I was wrapped in it. I just love it.
