Thanks for all your well wishes! As I am sitting here watching the children go by, I see some of them with the quilts. That's really nice isn't it!

How exciting to be able to see the program in action, but I am so sorry it has to be when you daughter was needing surgery. I am praying for a rapid and complete healing for her and strength for you.

I bookmarked this page so maybe in the next few months or so I can make one and send it. Hope your daughter is feeling better and everything went well.

I've been a volunteer for QFK since I retired 2 years ago. Besides making quilts, I also help out on our chapter's fundraising efforts. I usually make the quilts out of fabrics from my own stash. That allows me to do a good deed and also try new blocks, patterns, color combos, etc. without the investment in a full size quilt.

It's a great cause and lots of fun too

Thanks for sharing your experience! Am praying for a quick and complete recovery for your DD. So glad she got a quilt for herself. Things come full circle!

I loved hearing about the quilts we've all made for QFK. I've made 6 of them and our quilt group members have all made at least a couple. It's a great program. Hope your kidlette heals quickly and recovers totallly and quickly.
