I love making quilts for kids. I am sure glad that they really appreciate them and they are used by the kids.

It's great to get some positive feedback! The folks who make quilts for Linus Project can give themselves a pat on the back also! High 5's all around! :-)

Thanks for letting us know first hand. I'm glad your daughter was sent home with one. I'm sure it was a comfort to her as well. Hope she is feeling better and everything went great!

I have given at least 12 lap quilts out to a home for the elderly and seven for children. Now am making more but in between are walker bags etc. I know they enjoy them and I enjoy making them even more. I have a ton of fabric to continue to quilt and give as long as people want them. Even my dog Bella gets one.

I'm from AZ and make quilts for Quilts4Kids here. They are always in need of quilts from babies through teenagers. Quilts also go to kids in crisis via police, fire and child protective services. I've yet to make a quilt for me they all go to the kids. :-D :-D :-D

I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the work of Quilts for Kids (but sorry about the reason). Hope your daughter is okay.

Quilts for Kids is my number one charity I do work for. I just finished my eighth quilt for them today.

Again, hope all is well with your daughter.

I'm pleased the hospitals welcome the quilts as I just finished one and mailed it off to Boston Floating Hospital PICU for their kindness years ago when my youngest was confined there for 3 months.
